How does drone solar inspection work with MapperX?
After a compatible thermal drone captures thermal and RGB imagery, MapperX organizes the dataset for solar panel inspection. Teams can review hotspots and other visible thermal patterns at module level instead of relying only on string-level summaries.
Is MapperX an accredited inspection body?
Yes. MapperX is an accredited inspection body (ISO/IEC 17020) for thermographic inspection of PV plants under IEC 62446-3. The inspections and reports we perform are issued within this accredited scope; the MapperX platform is the tool we use to deliver them. Reports that other teams produce with the platform remain their own and are not covered by our accreditation.
Which drones are compatible with MapperX?
MapperX works with DJI thermal drones: DJI Mavic 3T, DJI Matrice 30T, DJI Matrice 4T, DJI Matrice 300 RTK, DJI Matrice 350 RTK, and DJI Matrice 400 RTK, with the Zenmuse H20T, Zenmuse H20N, and Zenmuse H30T thermal payloads.
